Our Team

Anush Hansen
Founder & Chief Product Officer
Hi there! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Career Counselor, former epidemiologist and public health researcher, and Founder of WellSort (formerly Balanced Card Sorts). I'll be the first to admit that I have a near-obsession with connecting people to resources that allow them to lead healthy, happy, fulfilling lives.
I own a holistic career and wellness counseling practice in Kennebunk, Maine where I support clients in finding meaningful, fulfilling work that also allows them to take care of themselves and pay attention to the other parts of their lives that matter most to them.
Prior to opening my private counseling practice in 2019, I worked for nearly 20 years in higher education, first as a public health and health promotion researcher at the University of Vermont and the University of Southern Maine, and later as a mental health counselor and wellness educator at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and the University of New Hampshire.
I hold a Master's in Public Health and a Master's in Counseling Psychology. The combination of my training and experience in mental health counseling, wellness education, career development, health promotion, and public health is what fuels my commitment to using a holistic, wellness-centered approach with clients, and helped to shape the development of the WellSort platform.
I live in in Maine with my husband, two children, a very energetic chocolate lab/Aussie mix, and two extremely fluffy cats. Outside of doing work that I love with colleagues I genuinely adore, I enjoy exploring Maine with my family, taking advantage of our beautiful local beaches, "gardening" (mostly just moving plants around until they're happy), getting cozy in front of the woodstove with a great book, and perfecting my favorite home-made soup and pizza recipes.

Tim Seavey
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Hello! I couldn’t be more excited to lead the WellSort team, alongside Anush, in bringing our meaningful, practical solutions to thousands of students, employees, and others who want to "sort out what matters most" to them in school, work, and life. People of all ages and backgrounds have had it pretty hard in recent years, struggling to take care of their mental health and wellbeing, so it’s a special privilege for all of us at WellSort to help in such an important way.
My interest in people, mental health, and wellbeing started as a psychology student in college. It further evolved through my career in employee benefits, where I've developed a passion for bringing real solutions to life's challenges - helping people recover, cope, and find new direction when it's needed most. I've been lucky enough to live and work in several countries, experiencing fascinating diversity in business practices and cultural norms, but also affirming my belief that at our core, we're more similar than we are different…we all want to be healthy and happy. Since leaving my corporate career, I've been having fun growing some small companies and startups with people I really like in the areas of disability management and technology, and serving on several non-profit boards.
I grew up in VT, a small state with an outsized impact on how people think about the world around them. But, Maine has been our home-base for most of the last 30 years and we love it here. I live with my artist wife, two college-aged daughters, and several pets in Portland, and when we're not coordinating transportation to school and summer jobs, you'll likely find us outside walking, skiing, and visiting local breweries. Cheers!

Robert O'Toole
Chief Technology Officer (Fractional)
Hi there! I’m Robert O’Toole, the fractional CTO here at WellSort. I’m thrilled to help the team translate a powerful wellness vision into secure, scalable technology whether that means architecting cloud‑native systems, fine‑tuning mobile experiences, or weaving AI safely into the product roadmap.
Before joining WellSort, I spent nearly seven years at Toast, where I led the platform teams responsible for placing and fulfilling over 10 million restaurant orders every day across 100,000+ locations worldwide. Guiding those systems through hyper‑growth (and a once‑in‑a‑century pandemic) taught me how to balance rock‑solid reliability with rapid product iteration. Earlier in my career, I honed my craft at GoDaddy and NVIDIA, building and scaling products that delivered seamless, delightful experiences to millions of users worldwide.
When I’m not shipping products or fine‑tuning an options spread, you’ll find me exploring New England’s great outdoors and hunting for the next amazing spot for barbecue, ramen, or comfort‑food classics.

Elissa Pike English
Marketing and Project Management Specialist
I am a Maine native with deep experience in project management, marketing, communications, and strategic partnerships. I've worked with organizations ranging from global hospitality brands to local nonprofits and startups, always bringing a balance of business acumen and community connection to my work.
Through my work, I partner with founders and teams in a contract capacity to help them launch new initiatives, strengthen operations, and grow sustainably. I'm currently supporting WellSort on their new platform launch (WellSort 2.0), bringing my skills in project management and communications to this exciting next phase for the company.
My work is grounded in a belief that the success of small businesses strengthens local communities.

Jessica Greher Traue
Director of Campus Partnerships
Hi! I’m the Director of Campus Partnerships. I'm new to WellSort but bring over 20 years of experience directing student wellbeing and prevention on campus. I’ve held leadership roles with the American College Health Association and its New England Affiliate, where I received the President’s Award for service to college health.
My interest in the link between wellbeing and student success began in graduate school and has shaped my professional journey. In campus roles, I witnessed how the wellness wheel sometimes overwhelmed students, especially when viewed as a diagnostic checklist to measure balance rather than as a menu of opportunities. In addition, colleagues often asked for structure on how to frame wellbeing conversations with students. This led me to explore strengths-based, student-centered strategies that colleagues across campus could also utilize.
That’s why I’m excited about WellSort - an inclusive and accessible tool that empowers students to prioritize what matters most for their wellbeing, supports holistic and co-curricular development, and can easily be adapted into many campus functions. I look forward to strategizing with campus partners in this role.
Outside of work, I love skiing, taking photos that I never organize, experimenting in the kitchen, and enthusiastically failing at golf.

Anushka Doshi
Full Stack Developer
I’m a software engineer and graduate student at Northeastern University, specializing in systems design, user-centered technology, and full-stack development. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a Software Development Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, where I led the development of scalable, enterprise-grade applications and collaborated across global teams to deliver innovative technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
I’m deeply inspired by WellSort’s mission to help people reflect, prioritize, and navigate life with greater clarity. I’m excited to help bring this vision to life through thoughtful technology and translating meaningful ideas into intuitive, interactive digital experiences that truly meet people where they are.
These days, you’ll usually find me diving into software design or exploring new technology in the mixed reality space. But when I’m not coding, I make Mandala art or take quiet walks in nature to breathe and sort through what matters most, just like we all do.

Kishan Lakshman
Full Stack Developer
I’m Kishan Lakshman, a curious builder who believes technology should feel warm, useful, and easy.
Raised in India, I earned a computer-science degree and spent a year at Microchip Technology smoothing out the software that helps engineers breathe life into micro-controllers. Now based in Portland, Maine, I’m completing M.S. in Computer Science at Northeastern University and tinkering with ideas that quietly simplify everyday tasks.
When the laptop closes, you’ll find me jamming on my guitar, producing tracks, or hunting for the next scenic trail. I pick up skills quickly, relish a good puzzle, and like to keep life as vibrant as a fresh playlist.

Student Affairs
As my CliftonStrengths assessment so accurately describes, I am a “developer” passionate about recognizing and cultivating potential in others. I honed this skill during my 20 years as an administrator at an all-girls boarding school, where I created leadership programming to give girls the opportunity to articulate and refine their values and goals, and to understand and own their leadership strengths as they built a strong sense of self.
In 2021, I transitioned to the nonprofit sector - and Maine! - where I am dedicated to coaching mentors: helping them to notice, appreciate, and reflect back students' strengths and capabilities, to affirm and reinforce their confidence and healthy self-perception. I love creating and cultivating authentic connections - especially when collaborating with other caring, compassionate humans. I am also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach: Developer ▪ Individualization ▪ Arranger ▪ Adaptability ▪ Maximizer.
In my spare time, I love exploring all things Maine (restaurants, running/hiking trails, the local art and “maker” scenes), long walks listening to podcasts (Brene Brown, Jemele Hill, Angela Duckworth, true crime…), and nerding out over fonts, hand lettering, and graphic design.
